Unenforceable Agreements

Unenforceable Agreements

Some claims companies estimate that over 50% of credit agreements issued before 6th April 2007 may be unenforceable, as they do not comply with the Consumer Credit Act.

Examples of credit agreements which may be unenforceable:

  • Secured and Unsecured Loans
  • Car Loans and Retail Agreements
  • Credit Cards and Store Cards

What makes an Agreement Unenforceable?

  • Loan value should be less than £25,000
  • Loan should have been taken out before 6th April 2007

How much will it cost to make a claim?

Most claim companies offer their services on a ‘No Win No Fee’ basis. It will therefore not cost you to make a claim.
